What is PWFPAK stands for ?

It stands for Peoples Welfare Foundation, Pakistan.

Is PWF associated with any political party?

No, it does not.

How do you define welfare?

We define concept of welfare in broad and narrow sense as mentioned in our objectives.

What are the objectives of PWF?

1) Our broad objective is to see Pakistan as a welfare state.
2) According to our narrow definition of welfare, to initiate projects that provide direct financial help to the people of oppressed class.

How do you define welfare state?

According to our definition welfare state means where people have equal opportunity to grow without any prejudice and discrimination. A welfare state means where human rights are protected, rule of law prevails and genuine and uncontrolled social democracy is established.

Is it not political?

Yes, it is political; however politics, human rights and welfare state are interlinked. We cannot ignore politics as it has great influence on all other national and regional activities. We see PWF as political pressure group but not a political party.

How do you support your organization?

We hope to raise our funds by the following means

a. Donations from the public
b. Donations from the donor organizations
c. Through offering partnership programs to business community
d. Through arranging social events

What is partnership program?

Business community can become our partner by the following ways:

a: Make an open donation on monthly or yearly basis.
b. Become major or co-sponsors for our social events
c. Run their advertisement on our website
d Become sponsor for brochures and stationary. Sponsors' company name will be mentioned

Can I become a member?

Yes, you can apply for associate membership. Your application will be reviewed by the committee and you will be notified within one month about the outcome of your application.

Does it cost to be a member?

Yes, Rs.500 is annual fee for associate membership.

What I need to do to be a member?

Download the application form and send it to our office address by mail.

I cannot pay, still can I be associated with the organization?

Yes, you can join us as a volunteer. In most case, we do not pay to our volunteers except the expenses that will occur while doing work for the organization. However, we do not pay expenses for coming to the office.

How can I be a member?

Download the application volunteers' form, attach your CV and send it by mail. After receiving your complete application, we will call you for an interview.

What do you expect from members and volunteers?

Commitment, loyalty and dedication to the cause. Mind it , it is not a social club where one comes to pass time. Yes, we have a friendly environment but we are looking for doers than just chatter-boxes.
